(This is only based on my use case.) For me, Fable actually requires less usage on high-cost projects. Yes, each request may cost more, but it usually gets things right immediately, so I don’t have to spend time on multiple iterations. GPT-5.6 is cheaper per request, but in my workflow, it often takes several iterations to reach the quality I need. By the time I get there, the total cost ends up being pretty similar to using Fable. I still prefer Fable’s output overall. GPT-5.6 is good, but it doesn’t fit my workflow as well. Maybe I’ve just gotten used to Claude’s capabilities and the way Fable approaches tasks. You can also check comparisons on YouTube and decide for yourself. If you’re judging models based only on benchmark scores, I think you’re looking at only part of the picture. Again, this is just my experience using AI for project automation and material cost estimation in my profession as an architect. Different workflows will naturally lead to different preferences. I’m only sharing my experience because I’ve seen a lot of people here sharing theirs as well. (P.S. I used a translator because I’m not a native English speaker. And i don’t use Claude regularly, but i use it on one sitting if i need to do some work, not just estimations, also visualization.) submitted by /u/userusertion
