About a year ago, I met a guy. We ended up having an incredibly long date and got along really well. For different reasons, it didn’t work out, and that’s completely okay. Nothing dramatic happened, and I’m not looking for advice on that situation. What surprises me is that, even a year later, I still catch myself thinking about him from time to time. It made me wonder what this experience is like from a man’s perspective. Have you ever been in a similar situation, where you met someone you genuinely liked but things just didn’t work out? If someone stays on your mind for a long time, what usually goes through your head? Do you ever think about the “what ifs,” wonder how they’re doing, or do you experience it completely differently? I’m also curious whether you talk about things like this with your male friends, or if it’s something you tend to keep to yourself. I know women often discuss crushes and unresolved feelings pretty openly, but I don’t really know what that’s like for men. I’d love to hear your perspective! submitted by /u/Adventurous_Gur_4266
