Either the design is unintentional or intentional, but especially when it comes to bug fixes I just feel like claude will implement the most fragile patches of all, then you end up playing whack a mole until you’re 7 commits down the line and then claude will suggest a restructural or architectural change to “fix things properly” rather than suggesting the solution from the start. I wonder why it behaves this way, is this just a consequence of finding the easiest and fastest way to fix something regardless of how fragile that fix is? or is it being efficient but the consequence of this is not fixing something properly which then has to be patched 10 more times until a real proper fix comes in which then you have wasted a ridiculous amount of sessions and tokens. or is the problem me? there is knowledge gap that I don’t have in coding because I am vibe coding to be able to tell claude how to do things the right way? whats your experience? submitted by /u/Dvass138
