Lately I’ve been running auto mode in the background while I’m doing other stuff on my laptop browsing, reading docs, working in another app, whatever. The problem is I keep running into two really annoying things: I have no good way of knowing when it’s finished or waiting for me to respond. So I either keep tabbing back to check, which kind of defeats the whole point of letting it run in the background, or I come back 20 minutes later and realize it’s been sitting there waiting for input. Once I have a few sessions going, I completely lose track of which terminal/window is doing what. I’ll open one expecting it to still be mid-task and realize it finished three prompts ago. Or I’ll think one session is stuck when I’m actually thinking of a completely different one. Has anyone figured out a setup that actually works well for this? Notifications, some kind of status dashboard, tmux setup, terminal naming convention, anything like that? Feels like this should be a pretty solvable problem, but I haven’t found a workflow that really sticks. submitted by /u/Ok-Mix1345
