I wouldn’t say it happens often but something of the sort has happened on probably three separate occasions over the past year. This time I was just walking down a Target aisle and the random kid in question was walking the other way with his friend and was like “what’s up dude?” or something and put out his fist for me to bump it. I just looked at him for a split second bewildered and moved on because it obviously caught me off guard and I heard one if them utter something like “man that’s disrespectful” from behind me. Do I exude some sort of weird freakazoid vibe I am unaware of that makes pubescent demon boys decide to fuck around with me? For reference, I am 20, though I do often get mistaken for younger, and I’m rather male presenting since I dress unisex. I don’t think I wear or do anything that makes me stand out. I have genuinely been mistaken for friends before but the vibe was different here cuz they didn’t say a name. What are their intentions? Am I overthinking this? Is that the whole point? Has this happened to anyone else? Is this an original experience? Why me? I DO NOT want to talk to you bro 😭🥀 submitted by /u/no-nope-nay
