I am 100% a night person stuck at a large company that loves to operate very early. When I have to take 8 o’clock meetings and prepare, I frequently show up at the office at 7 AM (which I hate). Frequently there are multiple floors filled with cars of people that have already gotten them started the work day. On the other hand, I typically stay at the office until six or 7 o’clock at night and arrive between eight and 9 o’clock in the morning. When people discover this that are warning people they’re shocked and finding incredibly strange than anybody would work that way I don’t understand why people that tend to work better later in the evenings are any different than people that show up to the office radically early? I hate to sound like I’m super biased against morning people but my whole life it seems like morning people have been judging me for being a more productive person later and having a later chronotype. Why is it that morning people tend to get a pass for judging other people‘s activities timeline? submitted by /u/Amish_Almond_Joy
