Just for fun, what day should we expect the next “extension” of Fable from Anthropic? With K3 released and being better than Opus 4.8, as well as having the option of ChatGPT 5.6 being also better than 4.8, what do you guys think Anthropic will do next? Thinking about how Anthropic played out their strategies… I think they made a huge mistake by releasing Fable to the public… they could’ve released an Opus 4.9 or something, but now that people have had a taste of Fable (the real Fable from the first release),I think people will not be satisfied with having Anthropic release a new model that is in between Opus 4.8 and Fable when there are other AI companies that have already succeeded in having that at a much cheaper price (k3)… So at least for me, I wonder if Anthropic will either extend Fable.again or completely add it to the subscription OR (I doubt it but 🤞) release a new model a little better than Fable… I’m honestly excited to see how this will play out and I’m seriously debating whether to switch to another AI, even going with Kimi K3 since it’s cheaper.and at least better than 4.8, which would totally serve my needs. I truly don’t need a very high AI model like old Fable, but it would be nice to have him.
