This is piggybacking off another question I asked a little earlier. But where have you lived that’s your favorite, and what made you love it? Like I lived in Ann Arbor, MI in my late 20s with my wife, and it was just awesome. Having the university of Michigan there meant the city still had a lively youthful vibe… there was always something to do that wasn’t that expensive. Wife and I love sports so there was always something college sport going on, whether it was an actual big football game or simply a field hockey match. They also have some unexpectedly great museums and local art, two local theaters and awesome architecture. Then the university also brought in enough diverse people that restaurants and cafes were different and plentiful. And then the real kicker is it was just 30 mins from downtown Detroit, so you had your artsy little tree covered Midwest college town… then a large city that brought plenty of big events and shows in whenever you wanted. submitted by /u/SprinklesSolid9211
