And this is pretty important to Anthropic if they want to win this race. It starts with the user, and makes its way across all customers in some way or another. The “ecosystem” wide impacts are not limited to trust. There’s a certain level of “followerism” and despite being a very small fraction of revenue, the end user is the voice of this whole ecosystem. Should orgs make their model provider decision purely based on what the community is saying? Obviously not. Will it be a major factor, especially for less tech savvy orgs going into the future? Yes Trust is important, and trust is eroding. Anthropic might want to look to buying trust back (if even possible at this point) and maybe less into buying resources for their API gated frontier intelligence scheme submitted by /u/Ambitious_Injury_783
