For context, I’ve worked in social services for a while now and there isn’t much that I haven’t seen. One of the things that has worn on my soul is that some fathers/male guardians don’t see a problem if their sons were SA’d by a woman. The visible trauma varies between victims but it doesn’t help my hope for the world that online, you always see men cheer for the underage boy instead of looking deeper that sex occurred. My stance is that it is so terrible and disgusting for an adult to take advantage of the relationship they’ve built with the child to fill whatever sick sexual fantasy of theirs.
