Why do people rely on AI scanners (Mainly in the setting of schools/colleges) when AI is well known to spit out misleading information? I am asking this question as I just submitted an essay funnily about “What can students do to maximize the benefits of generative AI and avoid the pitfalls and misuse of this type of technology.” and the scanner says its about 40% AI written.
