I’ve been trying to understand something I’ve been experiencing for a long time, and I’m hoping to hear from people who have gone through something similar. The best way I can describe it is that my brain feels… heavy. It’s not a headache, it doesn’t hurt, and I’m not dizzy. It just feels like my brain is heavy, and I honestly can’t find better words to explain it. What makes it confusing is that my life is actually going well. I have a good job, things are stable, I’m making progress toward my goals, and overall I’m happy with where my life is. I don’t feel like I’m dealing with major stress or any big problems, yet this feeling is still there. Sometimes my mind also feels completely empty, like I’m sitting in a “nothing box” or a black room with no thoughts. I don’t know if that’s related to the heavy feeling or not. I’m not looking for a diagnosis or medical advice. I’m simply interested in hearing from people who’ve experienced something similar. If this happened to you, what did it end up being? Did you ever figure out the cause, and did anything help? I’d really appreciate hearing your experience because it’s a difficult feeling to describe, and I haven’t found many people who talk about it. submitted by /u/CommunicationWrong83
