I’ve never had a complementary insurance. Currently looking into getting one for the first time while I’m still young and healthy, and I’m noticing that they reserve themselves a right to adjust their prices to inflation but never mention doing the same to their coverage. Which means by the time I’m old the insurance would essentially be worthless. Is this true? Are complementary insurances basically a scam unless you manage to get more out of it than you pay from year 1? submitted by /u/angular_circle
