How about some kind of device or super-rune we can place on the ground and teleport to it with a very high magic level. Put some of the obvious restrictions on it. No reason why it couldn’t fit with an ancient archive Kind of only works if it’s a bit over-restricted any places it “has to be placed at” (i.e. probably not right next to doom’s door or the like) Or make the rune cost such that it is not practical to drop it in game breaking spots?
