Curious to hear from guys whose fathers weren’t around much growing up, whether that was physical absence, emotional distance, working all the time, or just checking out even when he was in the room. A few things I’m curious about: What effect do you think it had on you as a kid, and later as an adult? If you’re a dad now, what are you consciously doing differently with your own kids? Is there anything you’ve caught yourself repeating, even unintentionally? If you’re not a dad yet, has it changed how you think about becoming one? Not looking for a pity party, just genuinely interested in how this stuff gets passed down, or doesn’t submitted by /u/Open_Fila
