So I just got an email that my Wingo mobile subscription will yet again be “upgraded” for yet again “only” one more franc per month. In 2025 it was the 4G to 5G upgrade, now the subscription model will be upgraded to one with more data/minutes abroad. Both upgrades entirely useless for me. Bottom line: 2 bucks more per month in 2 years, or a 7.4% price increase in two years. Does it hurt me financially? No. But it feels like a shitty practice. If you haven’t received the good news yet, it’s probably because they are communicating it in waves. Maybe they hope for less bad publicity, hence I felt it’s my duty to make this post.
