Hey all, I’ve been really enjoying Fable and even got a Max subscription just to use it. It’s been good, but I’ve maxed out my weekly limits. Since version 5.6 Sol released, I’ve found it exceptionally useful. I’m noticing that I get more mileage out of my $20‑plus ChatGPT subscription than from my expensive Claude Max subscription. I’ve now used up my Fable quota for the week. I’m wondering whether there’s any reason to try Opus 4.8. When I use it in chat, it feels unintelligent, it rarely makes tool calls, relies on outdated information, and prefers its own knowledge over searching. It seems less capable than it used to be, which makes me question whether I’m just on a hedonic treadmill. To me, Opus 4.8 feels unusable. Has anyone else found Opus useful within their usage limits, or would you recommend sticking with 5.6 Sol in Codex until my Fable quota resets? It feels to me that Opus is the inferior model. submitted by /u/AnimatorFun7470
