It’s ridiculous that people pay for a named model and then report it being nerfed, etc. Companies should have to name their models, register them, and then disclose next to the model name in a client UI if it is using a quantized version and what quant. It’s like a bait and switch wild west at the moment. It seems like a no brainer simple regulation. submitted by /u/SomeBug
