I checked my admin dashboard this morning and had to read the number twice. The game has been out for eleven days, and someone has played it for over seventy hours. Seventy. That’s more than six hours a day, every day, since launch. I don’t know who you are, but I think about you a lot. Eleven days ago this was a little browser drag racer I was building with Claude Code in the evenings. I posted it here expecting a handful of people to try it. Since then you’ve filled my servers, broken my free-tier limits, found bugs I didn’t know were possible, and one of you has now spent almost two working weeks of your life inside it. I’m not sure what to do with that feeling. Mostly I just keep building. Here’s what went out in the last few days, and honestly, the list surprises me when I read it back: Five real mountain passes, cut into the mountains like actual roads. Hairpins, guardrails, street lights over the drop. Every one is a race with AI rivals and a purse. The mountains themselves got huge. The biggest is 900 metres now and you can see it from half the world away. Live multiplayer drag duels. One green light for both of you, their actual car in the next lane. A roaming elephant everybody on the server hunts together. Someone finds it, everyone hears about it, it hides again. The snow land turned into a proper winter city. Christmas lights strung on real wires down every street, snowmen in the parks, and a Santa sleigh with four reindeer circling the sky at night. Rudolph’s nose blinks. Hundreds of small fixes because you kept sending screenshots. Roads that went nowhere, footpaths that didn’t touch, trees floating above their trunks, cacti growing in the snow. You found all of it. We fixed all of it. To the 70 hour player: You’re amazing. https://neon-mile.com/ submitted by /u/vidiclol
