So I have been claude subscriber for a long time and recently 3-4 months ago I switched to maxx5 for 100$ I have been happy with it until fable released and the limits didn’t help me, The 5 hour limit was my main issue I regularly build projects and ship code all day and also process a very large amount of very critical spec documents fable is amazing at ingesting technical documents it exceeds opus for my by far, I used fable to orchestrate never to make code itself to save on quota but I always hit the 5 hour limit in 1-1.5 hours so When sol came out I went to codex a week in now codex is disappointing first of all the remote sessions is very disappointing way less features than claude and a lot of disconnections sol became very very slow with about 30mins down today. it tends to make the easiest things and take shortcuts same prompts gets worse results on sol. using a better prompt helps but claude didn’t require much explaining from my end, while sol requires a lot more explaining on the first interaction while less during the run. Ultracode in claude exceeds codex by a long way. I can’t pin point a single issue in codex but overall experience is worse. I will still update again once I get the hangs of it and have some benchmarks since I will probably repay my max x5 again this week and compare hand to hand but probably codex will stay on 20$ for open claw stuff and the unlimited chat feature submitted by /u/CandidWeakness1924
