I miss it. Back in the early 2000’s I would be in the computer lab in middle school, I had just finished my assignment and had the rest of the class to mine ores. I was happily swinging my pickax when, out of nowhere… MEOW! …and with a scream, I’m teleported to a prison full of balloon animals! I love the random events. I know they were an anti-macro thing, but they just made the world feel so alive and magical! The fact that the world could, out of nowhere, sweep you off your feet and drop you who-knows-where, really made it feel more real to me! I loved that I could be heading to the bank in Varrock to store newly smithed gear, only to have a grubby old NPC pop up and say ’ I need your help! ’ then haul me off to a graveyard before I could shout ’ Wait a second! ’ I am glad the random events are still in OSRS, don’t get me wrong, but them politely asking if I would like to be kidnapped just doesn’t hit the same as when they would pop up and go ’ You’re coming with, whether you like it or not! ’ I wish it could be re-added as a feature. submitted by /u/Weak_Evidence_7629
