I recently subscribed to an AI platform’s Creator Annual plan for around $900. Just a couple of days later, they launched a 12+12 month promotion at essentially the same price. Support says promotions cannot be applied retroactively, which I understand from a policy standpoint. At the same time, as a customer, paying the same amount for half the duration purely due to timing feels pretty rough. I am not asking for special treatment as a rule, just wondering what people here think is reasonable in cases like this. From a SaaS or founder perspective, would you offer a goodwill extension for very recent buyers? Or is a hard no the norm? Curious how others have handled or seen this handled well. submitted by /u/_dhawan
