I have been long distance with my bf for 3 months and he’s been really sweet. Being attentive and making sure i’m okay even from a distance, sending me flowers, ordering me food when he can tell i’m not taking care of myself etc. and I’m just wondering how best to reciprocate. (He’s not really into flowers and never eats at home so I can’t do the same things lol) and although we’ve grown really close i still feel tiptoe-y and nervous sometimes because we haven’t been together very long! I just want him to feel appreciated and loved the way he makes me feel but I feel like there’s nothing i can do apart from give him words of affirmation, make time for him, be attentive - i don’t know what kind of gestures men would appreciate in these scenarios (i don’t have a lot of dating experience so that doesn’t help) anyway, pls feel free to answer in general about what gestures your SO has gone out of their way to do for you in the initial stages of your relationship that made you feel really appreciated - doesn’t necessarily have to be long distance friendly! submitted by /u/Sparkly-Siren
