I (19M) just got home after picking up and bringing my girlfriend (19M) over to my house. I had planned on smoking some za when I got home, so I did in the garage with my gf next to me. I don’t regularly smoke when I’m around her, although it isn’t uncommon. She also does not smoke weed, but she has done edibles on a rare occasion. Anyways, we proceed upstairs to my bedroom to watch tv. Not long after (~20min), we started having sex. I finished first this time, and I kid you not, right after I came, she started laughing and saying that she feels high (I think it was like 5-10 seconds after I finished that she started acting like this). I also laughed with her for a moment, but I wanted to help her finish too. She was giggly the entire time, just laughing randomly. This is pretty much exactly how she acts when she is on edibles. So we started getting to it, but after like 15-20 minutes, she said she just couldn’t finish. I would’ve felt really bad, but she was laughing a lot and when I asked repeatedly if she would like to continue, she said she didn’t want to. She seemed 100% content and happy so I relaxed. She was high the rest of the night, until she fell asleep. This happened at around 8:30pm, and she feel asleep at 10:30pm. When she woke up, she was clearly hungover, her head hurt and she was really groggy. She was fine after a few hours and some water. It was a really funny and pretty memorable experience, but I’m curious what is the science behind this? Is it something entirely different? Also, is this something to be concerned about? I used to smoke a lot when I was younger, although I smoke semi-daily now. Mostly just on the weekend. Also… we didn’t use a condom, she is on birth control. And yes, I didn’t pull out. 🙅♂️ tldr: I smoked weed and my girlfriend got high after we had sex, and it was silly but confusing. submitted by /u/Sw33tBFC
