My friend was telling me how her husband and her were just FWB and hooking up frequently for years until one day he proposed. No dating or meeting the family until they were engaged and both of them were still actively sleeping with other people until that point. There hadn’t been any long term/exclusive relationship conversations beforehand. And it got me thinking I have a lot of female and male friends who have been just casually sleeping with someone long term up until one day it was a relationship (not engagement though) and got serious, but always with the man changing his mind first. So I guess my question is what changes? What are men looking at during that period? I’m definitely not planning on finding out, just want a male perspective because my female brain can’t comprehend that switch from sneaky link/fwb to something serious. submitted by /u/Necessary-Fill7194
