Like everyone else, I was struggling with the verbosity and convoluted responses from opus 5. Yeah so it can code a bit better than 4.8 but at the cost of becoming incomprehensible. I switched to sonnet 5 as my main chat agent. I delegate builds to opus 5 and planning / verification steps to Fable (as subagents often using their own worktrees) Very pleased by the sonnet 5 experience as it can do quick, light-touch finishes and put together good specs for the planning and building. and it is SO EASY to talk to and understand… it also replies pretty quickly if you set it on medium thinking. can’t overstate how important this is for good user experience Would highly recommend this setup submitted by /u/Complete-Captain3322
