I went back to /model claude-opus-4-8 after spending some time with Opus 5. In my experience, Opus 5 has been showing some really odd behavior at times—random inconsistencies, strange reasoning, and responses that just feel “off.” So far, 4.8 has felt much more reliable for the kind of work I do. Tip of the day: don’t assume the newest model is automatically the best for your workflow. submitted by /u/thebvg
