Complained about 2 life struggles this morning in-font of my girlfriend after she asked me how I am doing. Halfway joked about being unemployable and my mother being sick. She shot me this look that spoke volumes. A look that said I should feel stupid for even saying anything about my mom. I asked her point blank was was that look for. She wouldn’t answer I kept pressing her then eventually get an answer. You’re “not yourself this morning you’re different”. Another lesson in keeping my business to myself. I have my reasons to believe she and I are incompatible but why do girlfriends ask if they don’t want to hear what we’re going through.
