My husband (30) just got officially diagnosed with very low T and freshly started on injections. I have known he was low T for a long time, and I feel that he has too, it just reached a point where the topic could no longer be avoided and he finally got tested/treatment. Low sex drive from him paired high sex drive from me has been a point of contention in our relationship since the early days, but we love each-other and make it work. There are phases of him feeling pressured, me feeling neglected, etc. but we always come together again some vulnerable communication. Low energy levels, lack of hair growth, no desire to work out, etc are also symptoms he had struggled with, but sex drive is the ‘big’ one that we both are hoping treatment improves. He is currently 1 month into treatment and I am noticing improvement in his mood overall, but also minor changes in sex drive, facial hair, and energy levels. Now that he has finally made this step to both improve himself, and hopefully improve our relationship, I want to help support him in any way that I can. For men who have battled low T to the point of effecting your life/relationship, what did (or could) your partner do that helped, whether it be physical actions just words of affirmation. I know in his brain he did this for me and not himself, so I want him to know I’m appreciative and supportive. I am so happy he is finally taking his health seriously, sex drive aside. I love my husband, he means everything to me. I just want him to feel that extra and be there for him during this adjustment period. submitted by /u/StraightMilk4384
