Hey everyone, I’m a sound designer and re-recording mixer working in film post, and lately I’ve been building a lot of AI tools to automate the repetitive parts of my workflow, custom plugins, scripts, and small utilities. I’ve been using Claude Code for almost everything, and it’s been amazing. The only issue is the session limits. I’ll be in the middle of building something, hit the limit, and lose my momentum. That’s honestly become the biggest bottleneck. I’ve been looking into OmniRouter, 9Router, and Hermes Agent as a way to route between models and avoid those interruptions. I’m also curious about trying Codex instead of relying only on Claude. Has anyone here gone down this route? Is it worth it, or is there a better setup? Do you still use Claude, have you switched to APIs, and if you were building an AI coding stack today, what would you choose? I’m mainly building tools for my audio workflow right now, but I’d also like to explore AI agents outside of audio, so I’d love to hear what’s working well for you. submitted by /u/KanjiOverCoffee
