Hi everyone, I hope you don’t mind me reaching out. I’m in a difficult situation and would really appreciate any advice or support. I’m a recent PhD graduate currently looking for opportunities in academia, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences in Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe. My Swiss residence permit is ending soon, so finding a position is becoming increasingly urgent. My background is in functional genomics, CRISPR technologies, rare disease research, NGS, and variant interpretation. I also have experience with international collaborations, patient recruitment, scientific communication, and coordinating multidisciplinary projects with clinicians and researchers. Returning to Iran is unfortunately not currently a realistic option due to the current situation and compulsory military service. If anyone knows of relevant opportunities, research groups, companies, or people I could contact, I would be extremely grateful for any leads or advice.
