I completely understand that outages happen (google it if needed), but restoring “functionality” with the current level of performance is ridiculous and honestly a bit embarrassing. Coming from someone on a Max 5x paid plan who has never had this number of issues before. Is this the reason behind the “reset trend”? At a minimum, I really hope there’s a reset later today because the amount of wasted tokens solely resulting from issues on Anthropic’s end over the last 12+ hours is insane. My thought is to at least flag the “dumbed down intelligence / speed” to users and let them decide whether or not to pay for it vs just wasting/burning a massive number of tokens for prompts that would take a fraction of that cost under normal circumstances. submitted by /u/lampasoni
