I’ve been recently diagnosed (6 months ago) although suffering since 10 years and having to hear from different doctors in Switzerland that its all in my head, that i need to learn to hold better, that i need to eat more vegetables and that i should exercise more and having to go to emergency cause wouldn’t stop bleeding from that area, all of this even though my dad is celiac and my aunt too. Anyways i have changed my life, and discovered how bad this country is for celiacs. I live in Lausanne. And there isn’t one single 100% gluten free restaurant, only bakeries and pastry shops. Honestly ridiculous. Specially knowing that 2 hours away is italy with a paradise of choices and places. So disappointed in the system. Anyone with similar experience and/or advice? Note: my dad and aunt don’t live here they live in the usa. submitted by /u/Awkward_Purple4857
