Title says it all. The whole quest is about sailing. 90% of it is spent on a boat doing boat things, several of which have equivalents that give sailing XP when done on your own ship. It wouldn’t have to be a large amount, maybe 7,000 to match the other rewards from the quest. Now, I hear what you’re thinking. “Seven thousand? That’d skip you past the first twenty or so levels!” First, obviously there could be an equivalent sailing requirement in line with the other quest requirements - perhaps reflected in dialogue by Captain Teach refusing you as crew unless you’ve sailed a bit. …or it could just be a method of skipping early sailing levels if you’ve developed your account in other ways. There’s already precedent for questing to avoid shitty early grinds - anyone who’s tried to make an efficient account from scratch in the past decade knows you skip early agility with tourist trap quest. Early sailing is tedious and slow, and so an alternative path to getting those levels would fit with the existing game design. Consider this a two poll suggestion - one to add the reward, one to add the requirement. Thank you for reading my post. I love you. submitted by /u/imagowench
