I’m curious about the motivations behind choosing a romantic relationship. If your decision wasn’t mainly because of family expectations, cultural pressure, or feeling like it was the “next step” in life, what made you actively want to be in a relationship? What were you hoping to experience or gain? Was it companionship, emotional intimacy, physical affection, building a life together, love, shared goals, or something else entirely? I’m interested in understanding what goes through people’s minds when they freely choose to pursue a romantic relationship, especially if they were already happy and independent on their own. I’d appreciate hearing about your personal experiences and thought process. submitted by /u/srivayush
