I’ve recently started talking to a guy I like. He initiated several conversations when we first started talking, but today I was the one who texted first after our conversation ended last night. I’ve had past experiences where people I used to talk to every day would suddenly stop replying instead of just being honest that they didn’t want to talk anymore. Because of that, I think I might be overthinking this. If you liked a girl, would you mind if she texted first fairly often? At what point would it start to feel like she’s putting in more effort than you are? Or would you actually appreciate her taking the initiative? submitted by /u/wellwellnow44
