To start off, I’m only 5’4" (162cm). I don’t really care about height. I’ve dated tall guys and short guys. In fact, if a guy starts creeping past 6’, that is starting to push it for me because then he just seems too tall for me. I’m single and I see guys always bemoaning the fact at how much women care about height (which I’m not necessarily denying). But if tomorrow, all women just stopped caring about height in their partner, how many of y’all would actually be comfortable and still confident if your lady was taller than you? I’ve heard women say that they were the same height as their ex (or maybe slightly taller) and he didn’t like it when she wore heels because then she’d be a several inches taller than him. Or if you’re 5’6" or something (which guys will say is a death sentence on dating apps), would you still be confident and cool with it if your lady was 5’11" or more? You see a video/pic of Zendaya and Tom, for example, and half the comments are talking about the height difference. Not in a bad way. Tom is a confident man and loves his wife and Z clearly doesn’t care. But would y’all still be confident if people were making comments about your height difference with your lady? This question isn’t trying to be bait or a gotcha question. I’m genuinely wondering. Again, I have no horse in this race because I’m fairly short and don’t really care about height. I was just thinking about it after reading some post about online dating and all the men in the post were saying that OP’s short height was going to be his doom with matches bc women only want tall men. submitted by /u/Fireblu6969
