We now have the technology to build an exact analog to WOPR from the movie WarGames (1983). We could build it right now, out of the box with today’s technology - cheaply and easily by military standards. This would undoubtably be the worst idea in the history of the human race, but we could do it - and quite frankly, I have a hard time imagining that there aren’t some utter fools in the US military hierarchy who probably think we should. submitted by /u/Jesse-359
