coming from codex, two days into max 5x. it asks me to do things by hand on a website when it already has MCP access. fails on xcode builds. every time i tell it to fix the real cause so it stops happening. i know my codex setup is months old and this one is fresh. so my question is not about right now: if i keep correcting it for weeks, does it actually get better? or is the limit just how well i set up my environment? claude.md vs hooks vs skills, what do you actually use? submitted by /u/oguzhaha
