I have bipolar and I typically don’t tell people until things are getting serious. I had a girl over one time and she went to the bathroom and came back and asked what lithium was. She had gone through my medicine cabinet in the bathroom. When I told her I was bipolar she pulled the plug on us and said she didn’t want to be my caretaker. submitted by /u/pissingmessiah
