I can’t say I’m a huge Jagex fan, quite the contrary, I have a lot of criticism towards the way they handle some of the things in the game, but credit where credit is due, I have never seen the game as clean as it is now. Literally ever. I have played for a very long time and this is unprecedented. The fact alone that this game isn’t infested with bots just makes the game feel very different. I’ve often felt like there was this enormous absolutely filthy underside to this game that just made it feel cheap and somewhat neglected. It felt like at best they didn’t care enough or at worst they benefitted from it somehow. Even when I wasn’t directly interacting with bots, I knew they were everywhere. I knew that they had a huge influence on the economy and in a lot of cases just straight up determined how valuable some things were. It’s hard to describe but the game just feels more genuine now. I know there are still bots, but the difference is massive and I think it’s important to show Jagex that players really appreciate what they’re doing. So props to Jagex. submitted by /u/kruktk
