Five months ago, I matched with someone on a dating app. After weeks of talking, we finally met up on a date where we were intimate. Because we live about an hour and a half away, we have only been able to meet up two more times and we have never been intimate since. I thought I was friend zoned, but with the weird quirk that we communicate a LOT. Texting him has become a major part of my day. We text each other almost daily, sometimes for hours at a time. It’s never romantic or flirty. It’s always about our shared niche interests, life updates, or personal projects. You know, just general bullshitting. I have never asked for clarity on our relationship because I did not want to jeopardize things as they are. However, it has been suggested to me that I am just the placeholder for his next relationship. Granted, this suggestion came from a group of women devoted to monitoring whether the men they are seeing is seeing anyone else in the area. But I need to know how likely it is that I will lose this important relationship (friendship, courtship, whatever it is…) Thank you submitted by /u/RealMadamePsychosis
