On paper Opus 5 is supposed to land close to Fable 5 for a lot less, but benchmarks never really match how a model feels once you’re deep in an actual project. For those who’ve run both on real work, not toy prompts, is the gap noticeable? Where does Fable 5 still clearly pull ahead, and where is Opus 5 close enough that the price makes it the obvious pick?
