BAKR would be an Agility-focused boss where movement is how you fight the boss . The concept is loosely inspired by the Lyngbakr from Norse mythology: a massive sea creature (Whale-like) that disguises itself as an island . Players would fight the boss on its body, using Agility obstacles and shortcuts to reach exposed weak points. Think Zalcano, but for Agility . Agility is still largely trained by running the same courses repeatedly. Meanwhile, OSRS has shown with encounters like Tempoross, Wintertodt, Guardians of the Rift and Zalcano that skills can have more interactive training methods without replacing traditional training. Agility seems especially suited for this because its mechanics already exist: jumping gaps, climbing, balancing, squeezing through openings and using shortcuts. BAKR would simply give those mechanics a purpose during an encounter. The fact itself is an island fits the sailing theme and may need to be a soft requirement to get to the boss. The Fight: The fight takes place on BAKR itself. Different weak points, or “vitals,” become exposed throughout the encounter. Players have to navigate across the creature using Agility obstacles to reach them. BAKR could dive, move, shake players from certain areas or temporarily change which routes are available. Higher Agility levels could unlock faster or safer shortcuts , giving the skill itself meaningful progression within the fight. Reach the vitals, damage them, survive the movement phases, and eventually bring BAKR down. The important part is that Agility is the primary way you fight the boss , rather than simply being a requirement to access another PvM encounter. Requirements & Rewards : I imagine this as a mid-to-high-level Agility encounter, perhaps starting somewhere around 60–70 Agility , with additional shortcuts available as your Agility level increases. Kills would provide a meaningful amount of Agility XP, giving players an alternative to traditional courses rather than replacing them. Rewards could include normal loot, Agility-related rewards and an Agility boss pet (Smol whale <3) . Example of how the the encounter could go: A weak point opens near BAKR’s head. You can take the normal route across several obstacles, or—if your Agility is high enough—use a difficult shortcut to reach it faster. You damage the weak point, but BAKR begins diving. Now you have to quickly climb toward higher ground before part of the arena disappears underwater. BAKR resurfaces, another vital opens somewhere else, and the next phase begins. That’s really the whole concept: A boss where Agility isn’t something you need before the fight. Agility is the fight. The exact mechanics, XP rates, rewards and encounter design are intentionally left open, as I am sure discussion here would be able to fine tune the idea into something better than I could come up with on my own. AI was used for verbiage/formatting but the idea itself is my own

This idea was a direct result of taking the in-game questionairre asking about which skills need help. submitted by /u/UsernameTakenJesus
