The guy I’m talking to drinks about 2 pints of coconut vodka everyday and he’s 32 so I’m sure he’s been doing this for some time, I don’t mind that he drinks it’s just I hear him say sometimes he wishes he didn’t drink so much or that he should slow down. I don’t ask him directly because I feel I don’t want him to think that I think any sort of negative thing about it. One time though he told me a big reason why he drinks a lot is because of the loneliness he’s been dealing with. The thing is now that I’m here, I never want him to feel like he’s alone, but the thing is the drinking hasn’t slowed, he still drinks the same amount. I just want to help him out and make him feel safe. What do you think you guys would find helpful if you had a sort of a drinking problem? submitted by /u/Chemical-8348
