I don’t want to be dramatic, but I think Jagex is making a tragic mistake with these Gauntlet changes. The player base will be negatively affected by it. Grinding CG before the QoL update completely changed my life. I got a six-pack. My credit score went up 47 points. I went to the dentist for a routine cleaning and he looked at my gums and said, “Have you been grinding Corrupted Gauntlet?” I got promoted at work. 3% increase. That’s right. Boss was impressed by my ability to reposition, gear swap, and prayer swap every 4th hit. My wife started looking at me differently. I stopped having seasonal allergies. My car’s check engine light turned off. Electric bill decreased in the summer months. My parents told me they were proud of me. And I got the Enhanced at 511 KC. Now Jagex has gone and made the grind easier, and I’m genuinely concerned about what we’re taking away from the next generation of players. If you didn’t spend six months slowly becoming a better person while Hunleff bent you over a barrel, did you really earn that Enhanced? I don’t want players to be unable to obtain a Bowfa, but at the very least, I think all Enhanced seeds obtained after the QoL update should have a ”(w)” tag.
