My cofounder and I are building a product together. For months our workflow was basically: he asks his Claude something in his terminal, I ask mine in my terminal, then we get on a call and slowly realize we each walked away with a slightly different understanding of our own app. Same repo. Same CLAUDE.md. Still different answers. What took me way too long to accept is that this isn’t a context problem you can fix with better docs. The model is interpreting, not looking things up. Two people can start from identical context, ask basically the same question, and still end up with different pictures because the gaps get filled differently every time. Then you each build on your version for a few days before the difference surfaces and someone has to untangle it. We eventually got annoyed enough to build our way out of it, a shared room where we both drive one Claude Code session. But I honestly can’t believe we’re the only ones who hit this. If you work on a product with someone else, how do you handle this? Share context deliberately somehow? Paste conversations at each other?
