Hi! I’m looking for ideas for a nice day trip from Lausanne, ideally somewhere in Vaud or Valais that we can reach by train (and possibly a mountain train/funicular/cable car). The idea is not really a serious hike, we’d like to get up into the mountains, find a beautiful spot with a view where we can have a picnic, sit around, play some board games and relax for a few hours.
