Hi all, I hope to get some useful insights on this situation I am currently experiencing. I have worked in Switzerland for more than one year and my contract was terminated in May 2026 after exactly 14 months of employment. I have gone through the RAV and the Arbeitslosenkasse (syndicom). My experience with the RAV was and is being extremely positive. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the kasse. I know this is a common problem but I am getting paranoid I will never see the unemployment benefits. Perhaps because I am non EU? Or perhaps because I worked too little in Switzerland? What is happening to me is that I have filed my June request and they still have not activated for me the July and August requests because they did not receive the June one, despite I have sent it by post and I have submitted it in their system (if I login in my account I can see the submitted documents). Communication with them is very difficult as they do not really anew emails and by the mobile it seems that they solve the problem but then they do not, and many times they also do not pick up. I do not know what to do. I live in Zurich and I have seen that there is an office I could go in person every Thursday… would that work? Do you have suggestions?
