So I 25(F) was in Florence, and I matched with a bunch of European guys and two American guys. First of all, maybe it’s by complete chance but the American guys were much more easy to talk to and such good texters, and I loved how easy it was to converse. I also noticed that my European dates would split the bill which I have no problem with but the American guys wanted to always invite me when I offered to pay. How is it like if you’re dating long terms or even on a first date, is it like a 50/50 or is it like a bit you a bit them. I never want a guy to feel like he is forced to pay for me on a date because of what dating culture says but I thought it was cute because they seemed to genuinely do it from heart. And I’d love to pamper my guy too. Also I am not saying all European guys or all American guys are one way, that is my experience submitted by /u/dreamycoeur
